Well, it's been a very long time since i posted anything, fiction ot personal, so if anyone cares here we go!

Baby Harrison turned a year old on November 2nd, after his poorly start in life he has come on leaps and bounds, for example growing to almost the size of a 2 year old! I have no idea if its because his parents are tall or the special milk, LOL, but he's a happy healthy little boy, except for then those darn teeth insist on coming through.

As for his mum ... well, she seems to have the depression under control after changes in medication and therapy, which she is still having. The anxiety is still hanging around but she is starting to beat it. After living with us since the middle of January they went home when her father-in-law came over to stay for 4 weeks from Australia. Now, that wasn't idea as he's ... lets just say stuck in the 70's ... they were both glad to see him go home. But when he did, with a little suggestion they stayed in their own home with assurance to my daughter that she would never have to cope if she needed help. For the first week, i spent a lot of time with her at their home but this has trailed off and now she spends most days looking after Harrison herself. So, fingers crossed and touch wood etc, she is getting better.

As for my knee, it was done back in January. I was given the impression that by now my knee would feel like my own and all would be fine and dandy. Don't get me wrong, the agonising pain has gone but it still gets achy if i stand for too long - walking is less of an issue and it is clicking, which i am not sure it is meant to. Work is okay, I have a seat to use when at the till and i can do other things that require me moving around, but i did take the opportunity to reduce my hours, partly because i didn't want to be there 5 times a week and partly because when i wasn't at home my daughter and baby would have to go to my in-laws as she was scared to be left alone with him. My knee gets very tight in the evening ... I know i did things i shouldn't, like carrying a heavy baby and housework before i was ready and my doctor told me i was hindering my own recovery by not being able to have the time to recover without everything else but ... well, it's done now.

As for writing, i signed up for NaNo this month in the hope if would spur me on but my head still isn't in the right place it would seem, but i am hoping it won't be too long, i miss writing more than i can say ... and i still have my darn novel to finish!

Hopefully the muses will come back as you start to feel less stressed.

Glad to hear Harrison is doing so well and your daughter is doing better too. Sorry your knee isn't as good as it should be, but the lack of agonising pain is a big improvement.

Here's hoping that everythung keeps getting better for you and yours!

Very cute kid XD
My mum had both of her knees done. She says that weather, long hours on her feet or not exercising them for some time ends with her knees hurting. She tries not to overworked them but sometimes it can't be helped. So, be careful, try to rest a little and get them a chance to heal :) I really hope you'll be better soon.
Take care of yourself :)
