London/Madonna/Bad influences
Sep. 12th, 2008 12:30 pmHad a fab time in London, met my mate 'Kitty' at Kings Cross where we were sharing a hotel room for the night, (whenever i say i'm staying in Kings X people always go on abou it being rife with hookers ... i've yet to see one!), after a catch up chat in our room (She lives in Scotland and we don't get to see each other often, although i was her maid of honour at her wedding in March) we went off to Camden.
Now she knows i've wanted to get my nose pierced for years and have kept putting it off ... she is such a bad influence on me ... i came home with my nose pierced ... not quite sure what hubby will think ... but it is a clear crystal and very tiny!
Madonna was fabulous, i'd give the show 9/10 .... i did give it 8/10 but my mate made a good point so it got put up a notch, she lost points for the odd gypsy bit in the middle and it really wasn't worth the £174 i paid for the ticket, despite how much we enjoyed it!
It took us around 40 mins to get from hotel to inside and seated in Wembley Stadium ... took us 2 hours to get back again! An hour to get the 200 yards to the tube station to start with, there were mounted police 'filtering' the crowd, what fun... not! Nice horses though.
We didn't get to bed till 2am and i sleep even worse than normal in hotels, so i couldn't be arsed to go shopping today on my own so i came home. Lack of money was also an issue, lol!
I'm a tad tired, will write next chapter of Be Careful .. later!
