I *love* this series and this chapter was particularly powerful. As someone who has had a miscarriage, I was really impressed by how you handled the complex emotions of both partners. A lesser writer might have had things resolve quickly and happily (and I find trite resolutions of emotions in fic so frustrating and disappointing!) Although the subject matter is so sad, I'm glad that your treatment of it reflects the profound impact it can have for those going through it. The realism here hurts but in the best of ways. An awesome chapter.
