The new bride looked stunning in her dress that seemed to fuse the fashions of the 1940's and 1950's seamlessly, in a beautiful fabric that featured a subtle leopard print, her husband dashing in his suit of the period.
The band struck up the first few notes of their set and the bride headed towards the empty dance floor, taking her husbands hand and leading him there with her.
As they took each other in their arms and fell effortlessly into their dance, their first dance as a married couple. They were lost in their own world, seemingly unaware of the eyes that watched them smiling.
They never missed a beat as others began to join them on the dance floor, they had claimed it as their own and it was to remain that way for the duration of the dance.
When the song finished they came out of their own would again and back into ours, acknowledging their guests once more as they became the hosts again for what was a wonderful reception to follow a beautiful Hand fasting ceremony.
