Date: 2008-12-06 11:27 am (UTC)And for some reason it takes me back to uni... my college (St Mary's) Christmas Formal we always sang '12 Days of Mary's Christmas' with lyrics made up by the student 'exec' - each table was given one line to sing throughout the song (my third year we managed to get on the '3' table) and it ALWAYS became a competition between tables as to who could sing the loudest (and it usually ended up with people climbing on the table to scream their line). I can still hear in my head everyone yelling at the end 'and a night at Klute for free' (Klute was the most popular nightclub in town and we DID sometimes get free tickets from college)

Date: 2008-12-06 12:02 pm (UTC)We have this thing where you try and make it through as far as you can on one breath..(not the whole song, just a verse). It usually ends up with the verses getting faster and faster towards the end.. Especially twelve. For some reason "eleven resurrections" stuffs me up..can't get my tongue around it fast enough. :P
